Igre in izzivi namreč otroke spodbujajo, da na nalogo pogledajo iz različnih zornih kotov in iščejo kar se da zanimive in oddaljene povezave in rešitve. Igranje iger in reševanje izzivov pa postane neskončen poligon za razvijanje zamisli in iskanje oddaljenih povezav. Tako otroci razmišljajo, kakšno bi bilo življenje, če bi imeli ušesa, velika kot slon; za kaj vse lahko uporabijo svinčnik poleg njegove očitne uporabe, kdo in kakšni bi bili, če bi se neko jutro zbudili kot robot, panda ali
